Title: Attach 1099 to tax return? Post by: porsche on February 27, 2010, 06:55:25 pm Hi,
Do I need to attach 1099 forms to my tax return? Thanks. Title: Re: Attach 1099 to tax return? Post by: danisara on March 05, 2010, 01:18:30 pm No, you only attach forms W2 and 2439 to your tax return (to the front). You do not need to attach any 1099 forms. The only exception is 1099-R (pension distributions) which needs to be attached to your tax return (this is because IRS needs to know whether you are required to pay 10% penalty for early distributions/withdrawals). (See chapter Assemble your Return on page 76 of 1040 Instructions).
