Post by: nbcool on December 10, 2011, 01:54:03 am
Hi guys,

**NEED HELP***

I am based in sydney on an Indian Passport.I finished my study last year and applied for Aus Permanent Residency, now on a Bridging Visa and waiting for an outcome.

Now i am planning to visit italy & france next year in mar. I am just wondering would i be able to get a schnegen visa from italian embassy in sydney while i am on a bridging visa here.

I heard from some friends having troubles in doin so. I would appreciate the insights from your experiences. Thanks in advance:)

An application for visa usually needs to be submitted in the country of origin (in the country of which you hold your passport). However, some embassies and some countries may have exceptions. Your best option would be to contact Italian or French embassy in Sydney and ask them.
