My husband staying in UK from last 7months with work permit visa. I am travelling to UK on July 20th/2013 with dependent visa. our visa valid period is November 10th/2012 to October 25th/2013. We want to travel to Europe countries on tourist visit visa. Shall we apply for Schengen visa? . Please suggest. UK is not part of the Schengen area. So, the "UK visa" does not apply to other EU countries. You need to find out if you are required to have Schengen visa to trave to the Schengen area.
