I am travelling to Austria on a Schengen Business Visa sponsored by my company. I will be staying in Austria for 4 days. The invitation letter has mentioned only 4 days that too for business. I have few friends in Germany, and I am also planning to visit them, my return flight is from Frankfurt With such scenario can I visit and stay in Germany for 2-3 days. Do I need to inform this plan at the VISA office here in India. Or do i need to apply for a separate VISA. Please help me! It says on the "valid for" line for which countries you can use the visa. It either says "Austria" (then you can't travel to Germany), or it says "Schengen States" (then you can travel to Germany too). You are also limited by the duration of visa (do not confuse with visa expiration!), if it is for 4 days only, then you need to finish all your travel within these 4 days.
