Title: ANOTHER SCHENGEN SCENARIO...
Post by: fitzo on February 22, 2017, 02:17:43 pm
Hey all,

I spent a total of 46 days in the schengen out of the 180, jumping back and forwards between the schengen countries and the U.K.

I know I didn't over stay or break any laws, My question is...

When do my 90-180 start again?? I can't seem to find this anywhere!

Do they reset from what would be my 181 day?
Do I have to be out for a total of 90 or 180?
Do they restart but I have to count from 46 till I make 90??
Or do I just get my 90-180 completely reset?

Thanks heaps team.

Hi, they do not start again. The 90 days or 180 days are a moving time frame. You are allowed to spend up to 90 days in Schengen in ANY 180 days. See the following thread for a sample visa calculation, hope this thread helps you to understand how the rule works:

90/180 Schengen rule in the Schengen Acquis visa code:
