Title: Help with 90/180 day rule.
Post by: starlings5 on February 26, 2017, 08:06:31 pm
I am having a bit of a problem working this out ... I thought I could stay in Denmark for 90 days as long as I then stay out of Denmark or any other agreed country for 180 days.

My scenario is:

On my last visit to Denmark I stayed between 30th August 2016 and 08 th November 2016 making it 70 days

My next planned visit to Denmark is the 20th April 2017 to the 20th June 2017 making 62 days..

I worked it out as 162 days between 08th November and 20th April and as I only stayed 70 days the last visit I assumed the 20 days could be the first 20 days of my visit then it would reset meaning the next 42 days of my visit would come out the next 90 day period.

Hopefully after this upcoming trip my next entry into Denmark should be around 22nd December meaning its roughly 180 days after I last stayed in Denmark.

Have I worked this out correctly or I am going to be in trouble for overstaying?

Please help ... I am very confused and worried about this.

Hello, yes, that is the answer. Steven just answered a very similar question in this thread:
