Title: Need Schengen visa when travelling to Morocco through Spain? Post by: GildaPrice on June 19, 2010, 08:33:57 pm I am travelling from Brazil to Morocco through Spain. I fly with Iberia from Rio de Janeiro to Madrid and then on the connecting flight with EasyJet from Madrid to Cassablanca. Do I need Schengen visa? I am not sure if I just transfer in Madrid, or if I need to leave the transit area to get from Iberia's arrival gate to easyjet's departure gate. Thankz.

Post by: porsche on June 21, 2010, 05:43:27 pm You will need to go through Spanish immigration, pick up your luggage and check in for your next flight. Easyjet does not have luggage check-through agreements with Iberia. So, in case you are required to have Schengen visa to enter Spain, you will need a transit visa type C.
