Title: Need help with vehicle identification number

I need help with VIN number. last time for my tax form 2290 filing, i accidently reported a wrong VIN and now i want to get that corrected immediately. If there is anyone who can tell me how I can go about it and weather the correction can be done online?

Submit a copy of the 2290 form with the wrong VIN highlighted on it and with an explanation attached on a separate sheet of paper. Include also a new form with the correct VIN and check the following box on page 1 of the form 2290.

Check this box if you are correcting a vehicle
identification number (VIN) listed on a previously filed
Schedule 1 (Form 2290). Do not check this box for any
other reason.

Mail it in as certified.
