I'm going to visit my friend in Finland soon (Purpose of the journey - Visiting family or friends), I have some questions about some of the required documents (Appendixes). *33. Cost of travelling and living during the applicant's stay is covered I'll stay at my friend's place (Accommodation provided) and he'll cover all expenses during my visit. So do I have to provide a hotel reservation and my bank statement or his lease and his bank statement? Thanks in advance! Title: Re: Applying for a Schengen Visa (Question). You might need to submit your bank account statement anyway. You need to prove that you have at least some money. You also need the travel health insurance, do not forget about that.
