what is the difference and similarity between these matrix: BCG - IE - SPACE - SWOT - Grand Strategy Matrix i know how to structure them i want the similarity and difference in use what really they give us for example, i think that BCG matrix has a market base view, and BCG can be used in PLC (product life cycle), ... thanks Title: Re: what is the difference and similarity between these matrix ? While SWOT is completely subjective (SWOT is just more of a way to organize your ideas), others such as SPACE are more deterministic as they use numbers to come to the outcome. You can say they use numbers applied in a subjective way, but it is still the numbers and their statistics that gives you the final result. So I would take SPACE and IFE or EFE as more precise.

Post by: mismas on December 01, 2011, 08:53:53 am SWOT matrix is more subjective and used by managers for presentations. It is more straght-forward, easily to be explained. The SPACE matrix is used more for analytical reviews as just explaining the outcome of SPACE calculations is more complex than in the case of the SWOT matrix.
