Title: Enter in a different country than visa issuer?
Post by: Pp2012 on July 03, 2012, 05:40:20 pm
I'm an Indian citizen granted a single entry Schengen Visa from Finland. I got a longer duration visa than I applied for, and would like to travel to Italy for a few days before going to Finland. Will I get any resistance at the Italian border if I'm entering with a Schengen visa issued by Finland?

Check your visa to see if it was issued for Findland only or for the shole Schengen zone. If the visa says Etats Schengen (http://www.euro-dollar-currency.com/etats_schengen.htm) , then it is valid for the whole Schengen zone, and you can enter any country within it.
