Title: Doubt about two consecutive periods at Schengen Visa
Post by: ederezende@hotmail.com on January 28, 2014, 12:36:20 pm
i have a question and i think you can help me.

If i go to Europe (Schengen area) and stay for 45 days leaving this area on 45° day to Turkey and stay in Turkey for 90 days.
I want to be back to Schengen area on 136° day. May i stay for 135 days consecutives, that means 45 days from the first 180 days period + 90 days from the second 180 days period?

Is it possible?
thanks

See this thread, there is an exact calculation which show you how to count the days and how to apply the 90/180 rule:

When you visit the Schengen area, you can leave and come back (assuming you have multiple-entry visa). However, the 90/180 rule applies. You probably thing that you have a 180 day windows followed by another 180 day windows. It does not work that way. That is why I posted the link to the calculation. See the calculation to better understand how you count the days. That will give you an answer to your question.
