Title: Australian refused Schengen Working Holiday Visa for France
Post by: kiaraf on June 18, 2014, 09:47:53 pm
Hi,

I am an Australian living in London and wanting to do the WHV to France for up to 1 year. I applied to TLS Contact for the THIRD time with every document requested and even the consultant checked each time and advised it is fine and only to receive notification my passport is ready for collection and then a letter stating visa refused and no motivation needs to be given by French government. I am at a loss as to how and why this is going wrong.. My passport is valid for another 7 years and my Visa in the UK has more than 1 year and 3 months validity.. I emailed the consulate each time to not receive any response so now I am awaiting up to two months for my appeal decision which may or may not come...

The French consulate outsourcing their work to the TLS Contact centre really causes more trouble

Thanks for sharing your experience. Any advice is valuable here. Your another option might be to try obtaining visa from some other Schengen country, or getting a permanent residence in the UK.
