Title: When can I re enter the Schengen zone after being there for 90 days? Post by: teacher21 on June 06, 2015, 02:10:02 am I arrived in Barcelona 14 January 2015 and have been travelling in and out of the Schengen zone and the UK for the last 5 months. I have used my 90 days in Schengen (left 4 June) and am now in the UK for the next 3 weeks. I want to spend another 8 weeks in the Schengen zone. Will my 90 days reset from the 14 July 2015? I have received conflicting info and the immigration officers at Heathrow were unsure and/or unhelpful on this matter.

The 180-days period does not start and end on any specific date, nor is "reset" on any date, it is rather a moving time frame. See here for a sample 90/180 visa rule calculation:
