Title: changing entry Post by: amasalam on August 29, 2015, 11:18:34 am I got a Schengen visa from the French Embassy in Cairo. Can I go to Germany first (i.e: before Paris)? Some people say that the first entry has to be the same as the country where the visa was issued. Is this true???

No, France needs to be your main destination, you can go to France through Germany -- assuming that your visa is not limited to France only, and that it has been issued for the whole Schengen zone ("etats Schengen"), check your visa sticker for that. |
