as rule, a citizen of a non Eu country with a regular residence permit issued by one of the States Members (in my case permanent residence permit) can travel within the Schengen area without a visa according to the 90 days every 180 days. What I find hard to understand is how the 180 days calculation is performed. I´ve been trying to use the Eu calculator, so called Schengen-calculator, but unfortunately without getting the meaning of that. For example, if I enter another schengen country on 24/09/2015 I thought this was the starting day of the 180 days period, as well as the 90 days period start.
