Overstayed for 1 day.

Hello All!

I am worried about my next trip to Schengen countries. I overstayed for 1 day(Frankfurt) and Immigration officer said "The church(It sounded like church) decided not to charge you with anything". Also, I did not book my tickets and ticket reservations, my company took care all of it. I have been reading the forums and found out, there will be a record on my passport.

Now, let's say I have plans to study in Europe.

Will it be now difficult for me to apply for Visa because of this incident?

In case you have not received anything in writing or a stamp in your passport, I would not worry about it. After all, you have received imformation from the border control that the "chief"?, the "clerk"? "decided not to charge you with anything". The border control officer is higher authority than folks in discussion forums.
