hi my name is dee, a filipino citizen with abu dhabi residence permit. me and my family went to france with a tourist schengen visa issued from uae, due to my work i returned back to abu dhabi without my husband and child, they ovestayed their schengen visa and hasn't come back to abu dhabi or philippines yet. I sponsored all the expenses of the trip including air ticket, hotel booking etc. and as a mother of the child i am the one taken picture in behalf of my child during biometrics. because they overstayed their schengen visa would there be a penalty or ban for me as a mother of the child and sponsor of thr trip? thanks

Hi, it is a very unusual question. Does your child have its own passport? I suppose it does. If that is the case, then the overstay would be "credited" to your child, not to you.
