Hi there,
I'm an American currently living in Spain and teaching English on a barely expired tourist visa (99 day). I'm flying to France tomorrow and I'm just wondering if I'll have any issues passport-wise when entering France or returning to Spain? Thanks!

Since you are not leaving the Schengen zone when travelling between Spain and France, most likely no. You might encounter problems upon traveling back to the US, most likely a hefty fee.
