extension of schengen visa

I have a Schengen which is valid for 2 entries, 26 days and upto 10th December. I am getting a return ticket on 11th december. I want to know if this vias can be extended and if there is a separate procedure for the same

You will have to go through the visa application procedure like when you applied for the visa. Regional practice in how fast they process applications can vary greatly; therefore, it will be best to contact your embassy and ask them about processing time options.
