I got a schengen visa from French embassy in my country and it's mentioned that the visa is valid for D-A-B-E-F-GR-I-NL-DK-S-CH.

Can anybody tell me whether S is a referens to Sweden or Spain?? Or, may be Slovenia or Slovakia or even Switzerland???
I would fly directly to Stockholm, any problem??

I tried to find a list of these shortcuts on the internet with no luck.

Thanks in advance.

This is strange, these surely are not ISO codes as they are two or three digit.

Country alpha-2 alpha-3 UN numeric-3 FIPS 10-4
Sweden SE SWE 752 SW
Switzerland CH CHE 756 SZ
Slovakia SK SVK 703 LO
Slovenia SI SVN 705 SI
Spain ES ESP 724 SP

I think they go by the international traffic signs (Distinguishing Signs of Vehicles in International Traffic as adopted by the United Nations), just for their simplicity and to be able to fit more names to the short space provided on the visa. See below for a list of country codes.

D Deutschland
A Austria
B Belgium
E EspaƱa (Spain)
F France
GR Greece
I Italy
NL Netherlands
DK Denmark
S Sweden
CH Confederatio Helvetica (Switzerland)
