Hi everyone.
I am currently in Spain with a TIE (Tarjeta de Identidad Extranjera) but it expires on May 31st.  My first entry into the Schengen territories was on September 17th with a 90 day student visa. Therefore the 180 days mark happens in March. Does that mean that it resets and I have 90 days after that to be in the Schengen territories, letting me stay until mid-June as a tourist as long as I leave and get a new "first entry" stamp?

I'm a USA citizen if that makes any difference.

Thanks

No, it does not reset. The 90/180 period is a moving period.
