Hello, I am an IT professional. My company's swiss branch has send a invite letter for 90 days to server for a client in Switzerland.

Is Schengen Visa is sufficient to work in Swiss ? Or even if it is less than 90 days, we have to apply for residency/work permit.

Please advice ..

If you intend to work, you need work visa. However, if the job is less than 90 days, >>unofficially<< you can get by even with a tourist visa (the company can get in a trouble if the authorities find out).
