Important question about accidental overstay in Ireland

Can anyone help me with this incident?  I honestly accidentally overstayed my 90 day tourist visa in Ireland by 2 days. Sometimes there are two days in a box on a calender. Im guessing that is how i made the mistake.  Will I be banned from the EU for 3years?  Im hoping an immigration officer would understand that it was just a mistake.  When i did leave Dublin, I went through security and they did not give me any grief.  I'm very worried and stressed out because i need to go back to Ireland.  I have family there. Sad  Someone please help with some answers.
