If you could choose, which site would you take

1. PageRank 4 with 20 unique visitors daily.
2. PageRank 0 with 500 unique visitors daily.

They go hand in hand. Theoretically, if you have many visitors, they are likely to spread the word and link to you which increases your PR. If your PR is good, you rank high in search engines which brings traffic. I would rather take the site with the good traffic though because traffic is more reliable. I see PR fluctuates a lot. PR0 one day, PR4 next week, PR2 later. So, I think PR is  very unreliable measure.

I do not understand all this hype about page rank. Do not worry about page rank, that is not important. Visitors and conversion rate is what matters.
