Hi,

I have a question. I au paired in Italy for 3ish months during the summer of 2014 and made my travel plans through an agency that never informed me about the 90 visitor rule, so I overstayed by 6 days. I flew out of Switzerland and that is where I was stopped by the authorities and they asked for my address here in America. I received a letter in the mail in German about it and it said I need to either pay some 250 Euros or possibly face 2 days in jail? I have no idea where the letter went and was planning on paying it but lost the information on who to call and where to send it.

Does anyone know what I do now? I am planning to go visit my mom in Poland this May and fear getting stopped and getting in trouble. Anyone have some advice for me?

Thanks so much.

Trying to enter Poland without the fee being settled trully might get you into a big trouble. You should get help with this matter from the Swiss Embassy. You can find contact information below.
