Schengen Visa Denied- France Embassy

Hi,

I had applied for a Schengen Visa through the French embassy and it has been refused on grounds that I do not have enough financial subsistence for the tour.

This after I showed a bank balance exceeding their minimum limit ( 56 Euro/day) and also showing proof of fully paid flight tickets, inter country travel, stay and return tickets.

Can I apply once more by depositing extra funds into my account? Or reapplying immediately won't work in my favour?

My flight ticket is for the 23rd of December to France.

I am an Indian Bachelor working in a reputed organisation in India.

To be procedurally correct, if you satisfy financial requirements, you should appeal the visa denial as the decision was not correct. Unfortunately, an appeal likely will not be solved by your departure date on 23rd of December. If it is possible to change your travel dates, I would suggest to change your travel dates and to submit an appeal (count at least 30 days for the appeal to come back, at some places as much as 60 days). If changing your travel dates is not an option (and you loose the airplane ticket when you do not fly), then applying for a new visa is probably the only option that is left to you.
