Do I need a visa to visit Germany

Hi, I have an ILR (Indefinite leave to remain or Permanent residence) in UK and I have an Indian passport. My husband has British Citizenship. Do I need to apply for a visa to visit Germany for a short stay of about 10 days? According to the german embassy website I don't but am not too sure of it. If anyone knows more abt it the information is much appreciated 'cause we are unable to contact anyone at the embassy to clarify this on phone.

In general the British residence permit does not entitle you to enter other Schengen countries, but some countries do acknowledge the British permit. It is possible that Germany is one of those countries. Could you post a link to the German embassy page where you have read it?
