LONG TERM RESIDENT WITH RUSSIAN CITIZENSHIP

Hello to everyone, I got a little confused with visa regulations in Spain. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate.

I am long term resident in Estonia (Schengen zone country) but with  Russian citizenship. Do I need to apply for student visa (Erasmus exchange program, duration 6 months) if I want to go to Spain?
