Hey so this may sound a bit complicated, but hopefully someone will be able to answer.  For example if I fly into Munich and stay two days to start my count, and then go to say London For 92 days, then come back to Munich for 88 days that would add up to 180 days and 90 days in the Schengen area.  Would I then be able to stay in Munich for another 90 days?  Would my count restart?  Technically, would be able to stay in Munich for 178 days legally??

I also seek further clarification about the 180 day cusp -

I am a US Citizen.

I have been under 90 days (non-consecutive) in Schengen area during the past 180 days (consecutive from date of 1st entry).  One the 181st day, I am in the Schengen area (Germany) - has my 90/180 days automatically reset or am I considered to be overstayed??

Please, take at least a look at the link provided in my previous post.
